About the Company

Siemens Energy develops and manufactures world-leading gas turbines for a global market. The company also delivers complete turbine-based power plants for long-term sustainable and cost-effective production of electricity, steam, and heat. The turbines are also sold as power sources for compressors and pumps, mainly within the oil and gas industry. A comprehensive service organization covers all delivered products and plant systems. The company employs 2,800 people, mostly in Finspång and about 120 in Trollhättan. Siemens Energy has an annual turnover of approximately 10 billion SEK.

Your Responsibilities

As a Business Analyst, you will work at the intersection of business operations and IT. You will analyze needs, identify improvement opportunities, and drive the implementation of innovative technical solutions. If you have a passion for combining business insights with IT solutions and thrive in a dynamic environment, this is the role for you!

Examples of tasks:

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and transform them into technical specifications
• Collaborate closely with IT teams and business units to develop and implement system solutions
• Perform analyses of data flows and business processes to identify and resolve inefficiencies
• Develop reports, dashboards, and tools to support data-driven decisions
• Contribute to system integrations and ensure that solutions are scalable and future-proof
• Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and according to requirements

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who:

• Has at least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in product development, IT, or business development
• Has a degree in industrial engineering, computer science, or similar
• Has a good understanding of agile working methods and frameworks such as Scrum
• Has strong skills in Excel, and preferably experience with tools like JIRA or other requirements and project management systems
• Has insight into and understanding of DevOps processes
• Is accustomed to working with and formulating user stories, requirements, and process improvements
• Has a structured working style and the ability to drive and improve processes in cross-functional teams
• Is fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
